More and more clients are presenting in therapy with suspected or assessed neurodiversities (Autism, ADHD, Gifted, Sensory Processing Disorders) and these different ways of thinking, experiencing, and being in the world can have a central impact on the therapeutic process and therapeutic relationship.
Through deeper understanding of our own preferred ways of thinking and being as therapists we can get creative with co-creating shared understanding and communication with our neurodivergent clients.
Brittany has been working with neurodivergent clients for 3 years, having fallen into the specialty as a byproduct of her own neurodiversity.
