Available time blocks are:
Weekdays: 7-11am, 12- 4pm and 5-9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9am-1:30pm and 2-6:30pm

You will have access to your room 15 minutes before and after to get organized. If you rent two blocks in a row you have the transition hour in between as a bonus. 

You will always have the same block or blocks every week. Your schedule is consistent and reliable.

You will always have the same office at the same time every week, providing familiarity, predictability and comfort for you and your clients. 

We don’t have a waiting room. There is parking right next door so clients arrive right on time. Some parents wait in our flex space while their child is in therapy. 

There is a municipal lot right next door and free 3-hour parking diagonal to us, super convenient. 

We have reliable WIFI, many of the therapists at Cocoon meet clients virtually when a client is sick, or the weather is bad. 

We’ve designed the rental structure to suit your needs and grow with you, you can add blocks of time as needed.

While you are the manager of your practice, you will be on our website and the therapists at Cocoon often refer to each other because we know and trust each other. We have a nice little community.

We often get together for coffee with each other, and host meet and greet events to connect with other therapists. We value connection. 

We have several people qualified to provide clinical supervision on site, including an experienced RP, an MSW/RSW and an RP, children’s therapist. 

This is not a group practice, you run your business, you manage your practice, you decide your fees and keep them. You pay rent and we provide a beautiful setting.

Cocoon suits independent therapists who want to do their own thing. 

Cocoon is conveniently located right downtown Orillia, across from city hall. Many therapists and clients walk or ride their bikes to Cocoon, we are close to public transportation and ample parking. A therapist can easily slip out for snacks, shopping, or the library between clients. 

Cocoon is for independent psychotherapists and social workers.

We are perfect for therapists just starting out as you can start with a few hours a week and increase as you grow.

We suit therapist balancing work and family, you can have a great office for a couple of days a week without the burden of a full-time commitment.

We are a great fit for those working hybrid, you only need to rent as many blocks as you need for in person (but you can access WIFI if you want to).

We are ideal for therapists moving from working full time at an agency to scaling down to part time self-employment. We make the transition easy.  

Our independent clients run their own businesses. Cocoon rental does not include a receptionist.

Your own beautiful, professional office in a charming building right downtown designed specifically for therapy, access to reliable WIFI, a kitchenette with a fridge for your snacks, free coffee, and tea (and usually chocolate), a spot on our website and access to a lovely community. Everything you need for a comfortable, professional office. 

All the doors at Cocoon have automatic locks so you never have to worry about being interrupted or about anyone unexpectedly entering the building. We have ample, automatic lights for those coming and going in the evening and we have security cameras outside to increase your security. 

We are not wheelchair accessible, but we do have an office on the main floor easily accessed by those with reduced mobility. 

Yes, we are cozy in the winter and cool in the summer.
